My top priority is tackling violent crime and preventing homicides. On my first day in office, we reinstated the Violent Crime Unit to review cases in real time and created a dedicated Homicide Unit. This team focuses on high risk individuals, prepares pending murder cases, and assists law enforcement with open investigations. By concentrating resources, expertise, and swift actions on these cases, we are working to reduce homicides and make St. Louis County safer for families and communities.
